Landmark n°4. Quinta de recreo El Marino (The Sailor Recreational Farm)
This recreational farm and restaurant owes its name to Don Lázaro Segundo Bernal Donoso known as “El Marino” (the sailor) from Valparaíso. It was founded in 1942 and until 1952 it was known by name of “Danubio”. Since its inception it has been a meeting place for artists, journalists and even presidents. Currently, it is managed by the children of the owner, Don Lázaro Segundo Bernal Donoso, Sergio Bernal and Julio Bernal.
It is a place that mixes Chilean food with folkloric events.
It has the oldest standing liquors license in the country.
