Landmark n°7. Centro Cultural Teatro Plaza (Theater Square Cultural Centre)
In July 2011, former Cine Plaza (1948) became a cultural center, where the community and artists converged in an ongoing conversation. Here, art forms such as rock, poetry, dance, visual arts, theater, audiovisual and crafts can find a space to be promoted, display their work and interact with new audiences. Its capacity of up to 290 people makes it the perfect spot to perform or display cultural and artistic exhibitions.
It’s administered by the Cultural Corporation of Talagante.
A story is told about its creation, which is related to the strange disappearance of some elderly individuals that took care of the place. Today it is considered an urban legend.
